water

The world's water crisis has many faces. A girl in Africa walks three miles before school to fetch water from a distant well. A teenage boy in China is afflicted with terrible skin lesions because his village well is contaminated with arsenic. There are many causes of this problem like floods, drought, pollution and climate change. Global warming is another threat. Global warming is responsible for declining rainfall in some regions, glacial melt in others, and rising sea levels. Other natural disasters occur with more sudden intensity. Other natural disasters occur with more sudden intensity. The floods that affect the Yangtze River in China every year, the hurricane that devastated New Orleans or the 2004 tsunami in the Indian Ocean that killed more than 200,000 people are all examples of the threats that natural events continue to pose for millions around the world. A third of the world's population is enduring some form of water scarcity.A third of the world's population is enduring some form of water scarcity. One in every six human beings has no access to clean water within a kilometer of their homes. One in every six human beings has no access to clean water within a kilometer of their homes.Half of all people in developing countries have no access to proper sanitation. Half of all people in developing countries have no access to proper sanitation. Water is critical for life and for livelihoods. Water is critical for lifeYet billions of people suffer from disease, poverty and a lack of dignity and opportunity because they have no access to this basic resource. yet billions of people suffer from disease, poverty and a lack of dignity and opportunity because they have no access to this basic resource.
As we know the lack of the water in the world is a big problem. There are many countries in Asia that have water crisis, and one of these countries is Uzbekistan. Uzbekistan is a country which is in central Asia, and border four countries. Located north of Turkmenistan and Afghanistan, and south of Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan, It has an area of 447000 square kilometres and a big population.
Its climate is classified as continental, with hot in summers and cool in winter. There are environment problems in Uzbekistan but Despite Uzbekistan rich and relied environment. It faces a water crisis. There is   two rivers in Uzbekistan, AmuDaraya and the Syrdarya. Farmers use river water for growing cotton and wheat. There are many causes of this problem .Firstly, farmer's use the rivers water for irrigation, which diminishes flow of water.  Secondly sue to global climate change, there are more droughts, and there is high generation. Population .
Thirdly, they used the water for electricity. The water shortages have negative impact, which exposes the population to a lack of employment opportunities. The farmers predict shortages of bread later .So there will be famine and decrease in population.

problem and the solutions

Finally we have learned that billions of people across the world suffer from a lack of water.
States must find solutions to eliminate the water crisis that threatens the world. We must keep our water safe because it is the base of life in the world. Nowadays the growing population is causing pressure on water resources, and also the cutting of trees because of the increase in construction of urban areas and the lack of modern technology all contributes to global warming and climate change.
The depletion of ground water and water pollution due to factory waste also contribute to the water crisis. These are the most important reasons for the problem of shortage of drinking water. We outlined solutions to the problem of the lack of water, such as collecting rain water the desalination of sea water the remediation of sewage the purification drinking water, using more solar the energy, rationalization of water consumption and the development of laws for prevention of contamination of water as well as the use new technology, Search for new sources of water. In this way we can help to solve water shortages.

Solutions to the problem

How can we solve the water crisis worldwide?
How can Uzbekistan and other countries solve the problem of water shortages?
There must be a solution to protect the use of drinking water properly so that if can be enough for all people to access world wide.
So what are these solutions?
The first solution is to use more desalinated sea water and nowadays many countries desalinate sea water like the United Arab Emirates, China and India.
The second solution is to use reclaimed water like water and processed sewage and reuse it for irrigation on agricultural land.
The third solution is the use of more purification of drinking water, to provide safe drinking water and protect people from diseases.
The fourth solution is to rationalization current demand.  This solution is vital is for the water crisis as it shows us how to consume water in right ways. Education through news papers, commercial ads, and posters in schools in also helpful.
The fifth solution is to gather rain water by damming, and research new water sources by drilling wells in developing countries in Africa.
The sixth solution is, the use of stricter laws for the owners of factories which use sea water and pollute the rivers and to reduce the excessive pumping of ground water.
The seventh solution, is limiting of older techniques and the use of water sprays for trees in parks, roads and home gardens.
The last solution not least, is the use of solar energy instead of hydropower. In Uzbekistan, for example, many problems could be solved if the state would be willing to have better relations with neighbouring countries up stream like Kyrgyz Stan and Tajikistan. They may try also the rationalization of water consumption, the use of modern techniques, and support from other developed countries.

Drinking water

The world's water crisis has many faces.  A women in Africa or in Asia walks three miles to bring water from a distant well. All organisms can not live without water for a long time, and this makes water one of the greatest necessities of life after air. Water is the key to survival of life and therefore requires a focus to solve the problem of water scarcity in the world.
There is many are such cases worldwide, as the example given above shows.   So, what caused these problems? The biggest cause is “ Global warming”, because,  it  is responsible for declining rainfall, glacial melt, and rising sea levels  Other  causes are ,  floods ,droughts, pollution and climate change. Also there is a dramatic increase in population and increased changes in life style.
According to research, every day a many children die around the world or get sick because of unclean water. So there is always a decrease in the population. Also desertification and droughts and dust storms and soil erosion because of this result This has a negative effect on agricultural practice .It spreads famine because of this lack of water and wildfires ,such as the recent Australian fires. Eventually it will cause war between countries in the future.

The History of Gold

Gold is the most precious metal and has a long history. Gold has been the preoccupation of both nations and individuals, as it determined the progress and the retrogress of all countries.
Gold was appreciated in ancient and modern civilizations, the tomb of the young Egyptian King Tutankhamen was a concrete proof of not only the general  appreciation of gold but also using it to show their skills and abilities in craftsmanship. Further the  Persian Empire's artist  used gold in making statues of animals made of gold with the tiniest details engraved.
The Roman empire's  strength witnessed the use of gold not only as jewelry but also as domestic items like cups and spoons . With Christianity's advent it for bidden is bury gold with  dead bodies, resulting in more available gold pieces in the Middle East region.
After discovering the New World (North and South America) some peoples showed a level of high skill in gold. Further  the Indian native manufacturers surpassed their European invaders in this art, so Spanish seized all their masterpieces which were melted down and transported to Spain, depriving the world of this art. It is known only via modern excavations.

Developments :-
The first occurrence of alchemy was in ancient times, and it was practised in Iraq, Egypt, China, Japan, Romania and the Roman empire. This science dominated for nearly 2500 years .Throughout history, the main goal of alchemy was the conversion of metals into gold and to find the Philosopher's Stone, which grants its owner immortality. The Europeans had a goal to create gold, but the Chinese goal was used for the purpose of treatment and the pharmaceutical industry.
The chemists believed that gold co-ordinated all levels of the soul, body and mind, and it was used for cases of mental instability and treatment of cases of psychological and emotional disturbance. They believe it also gave immortality .
For more than 5000years,Egyptians used gold in dentistry because of gold's ability to resist high-killed bacteria.  It was used in the manufacture of ornaments and decorations such as jewelry
Modern Development :-

Nowdays, gold is used in many fields, medical and financial, the computer industry and electronics.

Most gold is used in the manufactuere  of  jewllery. More than 78% of gold used every year is used for the manufacture of  jewelry.
In the medical field, gold is used as a drug to treat a small number of medical corditions.

In the financial field,  gold used as financial banking currency held in the  from of gold bars. Today many countries and individuals hold investment in gold in the from of bullion.
In the computer field, gold is used in many places such as the standard desktop or laptop it is also used edge connectors used to mount microprocessors and memory chips onto the motherboard .The plug and socket connectors used to attach cables all contain gold.

In the electronics field a small amount of gold is used in almost every electronic device.  Those  include cell phones, calculators and other small electronic devices. One billion cell phones are produced each year and most of them contain about fifty cents worth of gold.

The most  important use of gold is for reserve currency. Because the gold is a conductor of electricity and has a high resistance to rust and corrosion it also became of great importance in the manufacture of electrical circuits.
